which keeps the quick pace going with a good set of characters with the righting you really feel ...

From a story standpoint it grabs your attention from the start, not knowing much about the fall off Rome to start hooks you in, give you a brief history lesson then throwing you into the alternate history story. which keeps the quick pace going with a good set of characters with the righting you really feel the clock ticking against these characters as Amiculus easily leads the Germanic mercenaries through the defenses of Rome ever closer to the boy emperor Romulus and his father acting as his magistrate. corruption, deceit, and mistrust is thick in the air of the story and it keeps you turning pages till the end then makes you beg for the story to continue
The Art matches the story perfectly, the designs and overall style make you feel like you are right in the midst of the action in roman times. I compare it to like reading a highly detailed stone mural painted on a wall, it makes you want to touch the page and feel the rough rock surface.
